They disagree on the rituals of cremation and other matters, however. They argue with each other and other family members over other issues. India Lockdown is a real-life drama film by Madhur Bhandarkar, who won the National Award. Like many of his other works, the story of this hard-hitting movie is based on actual events. In the movie, four stories are going on at the same time: a father who wants to go to Hyderabad to see his daughter, a migrant worker who is working hard to take care of his family, a pilot who is stuck at home, and a sex worker who can’t make enough money to send to her mother who lives in a village far away. This movie shows that the COVID-19 pandemic was brutal on everyone, but some people had it worse than others.

Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie
Andrew Louis has written and directed a suspenseful mystery crime thriller series. The murder of Velonie, a pretty young girl, is the central theme of Vadhandhi – The Fable of Velonie (played by Sanjana). A persistent police officer named Vivek (played by S. J. Suryah) has been given the case and will stop at nothing to solve it. It is difficult for him to solve the case because he needs helpful information and supporting evidence. In addition, there is more to this case than first appears.
Additionally, it’s not just Vivek. This case also interests novelists and news editors, each with unique perspectives. The series is more engrossing and intriguing because of the Rashomon Effect storytelling technique.

Qala
Qala is a psychological drama accompanied by stirring music. This film marks the debut of Babil Khan (son of the late veteran actor Irrfan Khan), who co-stars in pivotal roles with Triptii Dimri and Swatii Mukherjee. The plot revolves around Qala, a famous playback singer with a troubled past, and is set in the 1930s. Her career is on the rise, but she faces many challenges in her personal life, such as dealing with her mother’s uncaring attitude and condescending remarks and Qala’s inner voice that disregards her singing abilities. In addition, another rising singer, Jagan, is emerging as a threat to her career. Eventually, these factors hurt her, both professionally and personally.
