It is the third major international award for the hit song “Naatu Naatu,” written by Chandrabose and composed by MM Keeravaani. It has already won a Golden Globe and a Critics’ Choice Award.
“RRR,” an action-adventure movie set in the past directed by SS Rajamouli, made history when its song “Naatu Naatu” became the first Indian Song to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
The Telugu song was nominated in the same category as “Applause” from “Tell It Like a Woman,” “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and “This Is a Life” from “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.”
In the 1920s, the fictional story “RRR” (Rise Roar Revolt) is based on the lives of two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR).
“Naatu Naatu” is a song about how dance and goodwill can bring people together. Charan and Jr. NTR dance to the Song’s catchy beat. The name of the Song in Telugu means “peaceful.” More than 4.35 minutes of running time shows how fun country music can be.
“Jai Ho” from the 2008 British movie “Slumdog Millionaire,” directed by Danny Boyle, was the first Hindi song to win an Academy Award for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. It was written by Gulzar and put together by AR Rahman.
“Naatu Naatu” was filmed in Ukraine on the lawns of Kyiv’s Presidential Palace. In a recent interview, Rajamouli said that Prem Rakshith, the Song’s choreographer, came up with more than “100 variations” of the hook step.
Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairava, two singers of “Naatu Naatu,” also sang the Song at the Oscars.
The song ‘Natu-Natu’ won the Oscar Award, and the performance also received a standing ovation.
“Natu Natu” makes foreigners dance crazy.
